The final project has two assignment components: 1) A written paper covering the topic and 2) A PowerPoint presentation of the topic that must include your voice (audio) and visual (webcam) for authentication purpose. Failure to submit both assignments will result in a significant impact on your final grade.
Final Paper Instructions:
Individual Project Papers should be word-processed in Microsoft Word Document, double spaced using 12 point (none bold) Times New Roman font, pages numbered, and structured in accordance with the APA format. Also with this assignment, submit and bring to class, a power point presentation of this project paper.
Assignment Topic:
Compare and contrast the correctional System in the United States with any country of your choice. USE SOUTH AMERICA. Analyze the similarities and differences including the history, correctional ideologies, sentencing, intermediate sanctions, custody functions, treatments, gender, special category offenders, offender rights, and the use of parole.
