Conduct an analysis of the cultural influences on your own life as it pertains to the themes in the text. You may choose as many or as few cultures as you would like but must include how your membership in each culture influences your history, thinking, actions and perceptions.
Identify 3-5 cultural groups that you belong to. For each group that you belong to, answer the following three questions. Note: You will answer these three questions for each group you belong to (If you choose to write about 4 groups you belong to, you have 4 groups x 4 questions = 16 total questions to answer).

How does being a member of the group influence your perception of others?
How does being a member of the group influence the way you communicate with others?
How do you feel others communicate with you due to your membership in the group?
Think about the people in your life who are from other cultural groups. Answer the following questions:
What are some of the benefits of forming intercultural relationships?
What are some reasons people might have for NOT forming intercultural relationships?
Use outside sources to strengthen the depth of analysis pertaining to different cultural groups.
