Use of Social Media Platforms as a Technology to Mitigate Monkey Pox Disease in the USA

Guidelines for Final Paper/Virtual Presentation

The purpose of this Final Paper/Virtual Presentation will be to identify a specific information technology used in providing population focused care. A formal literature review specific to the chosen information technology will be conducted. The focus of the review will be on evaluating the incorporation of the identified technology into current practice, identification of the roles of interprofessional team members involved, and evaluate the use of that technology (Enhance a Caring Practice). The student will propose an improvement in the technology to affect better population outcomes or system outcomes. Each student will submit a virtual presentation: (1) an overview of findings from their formal literature review and identification of the role of interprofessional team members involved (Maximum of 10 PowerPoint slides including title slide and reference slide); (2) identify appropriate technology, large data bases, and information systems for a specific population-focused patient care need; and (3) identify specific therapeutic nursing interventions and means of evaluation to meet the identified need as part of an interprofessional team (Enhance a Caring Practice). Paper will consist of: Title page, abstract, introduction, literature review (identify technology, role of interprofessional team members, and supported evaluation of technology), discuss impact of information technology on a specific population-focused patient “health” need (refer to items 2 & 3 above), improvement proposal (supported, effect better population outcomes or system outcomes), and conclusion (How would the chosen information technology enhance a caring practice?). Paper should be no more than 6 to 8 pages excluding title page, abstract, and references (content beyond 8 pages will not be read). Structure of paper will include APA format, double spaced, Times New Roman font size 12.
