• Brief:
o Based on the case selected “The Influence of Leadership on the Impact of the US Centers for Disease Control’s PEPFAR Operation Phuthuma Support
Program for HIV Epidemic Control in 12 Priority Districts and the review of the most relevant concepts in the research methodology literature, you need to
draft a research and data collection plan.
This document needs to describe and motivate your choice of research methods (interviews, focus groups, choice of literature, observation techniques). It
should also include a detailed work plan.
• The Research and Data Collection Plan is the Methodology section of your research paper. As a Master’s student, you need to be able to work on your own
and do your own research with regard to how to do a Methodology section. Use the brief (above), use the given rubric (attached), and remember to have a
look at the work of MDP students from previous years to guide you.
