Industry Report
The objective of this assignment is to research a company that ranks among the top 100 performers in
information technology. You are required to submit a 8-10 page (excluding the title page and
references) report that includes but not limited to the following:
1. General description of the company
2. Its history
3. Size of organization, headquarters, structure, and workforce
4. Company financials, including capitalization, equity, and profitability
5. Product lines, leading products, and product innovations
6. How IT is being used to further its mission (major part of the report)
7. Summary
8. References
Your sources of information can be company websites, newspapers, and other search engines
including Google.
The specific company you are to research is listed will be selected in class by you
I will add additional details if necessary.
Your report must be in the following format:
1. Cover sheet which will include a picture, title of your report followed by your full name,
University ID, course name, semester, and year.
2. Table of contents
3. Body of the report: minimum 10 pages single line spacing with 1″ margin on all sides
4. List of references
