One reaction essay will be written over the course (Family inequality from diverse ethnic, cultural backgrounds across a range of socioeconomic circumstances in the contemporary US context. Topics of interest include but are not limited to research on economic outcomes, education, and physical and mental well-being.) of the semester based on assigned readings covered in class. Students will select readings for a week. The essay will consist of 10 double-spaced pages typed, not including the cover page, bibliography, figures, etc. The paper is based entirely on class material, required readings for that week and incorporating supplementary readings where appropriate. The topic and nature of the papers will be up to the student. I will upload 4 of the required readings for the week and 2 of the readings from the previous week. You are welcome to use the supplementary readings from other sources
