Goals
This assignment is designed to give the student and understanding of the complexities of the state and federal Whistleblower Protection laws. One of the most significant steps designed to curtail corruption in the public sector is whistleblower protection legislation.

Directions
Write a two-page, typewritten, double-spaced paper on the issue of corporate corruption and the Whistleblower Protection Act. Enron and other major corporations have been investigated for allegedly using questionable accounting practices. Evaluate corporate corruption ability to flourish in relation to the Whistleblower Protection Act.

Public personnel systems in federal, state and local government progressed from patronage to a civil service system. Development over time in personnel administration in government service entrenched the fundamentals of merit in federal government service. State and local government followed the trend of the federal system.
