compose a brief (8-10 pages, give or take) statement of faith. Students are to identify the core doctrines of Christianity (Justification, Pneumatology, Ecclesiology, Worship, Sacraments, Sanctification, and Moral Theology). Articulate what he or she believes on the topic(s), with proper evidence, and explain what practical relevance this particular doctrine has. A simple recitation of what one believes with a list of scriptural passages will not receive the grade an enthusiastic student desires; a thoughtful and selective exegesis of pertinent scripture with refutation of opposing views and attention to pertinence will get the highest marks.
