Assignment 1: Term Plan Draft
In the first week of each term, you must complete a draft of your Term Plan, which you will then discuss and refine with your Chair/Supervisor. You must complete the following steps by Day 7 of Week 1 in order to avoid being dropped from the course. If you gain access to your research forum before Day 1 of Week 1, and you submit your Term Plan early, you will need to resubmit it starting on Day 1 of the course.
By Day 7 of Week 1:
Download the Term Planning Template, which can be found in this week’s Learning Resources.
After you review your goal dates in the Doctoral Degree Coach, record the goals you intend to achieve by the final week of this Term. Be realistic in your goal setting and be sure to consider any obstacles or external review processes that you might need to factor into your timeline for goal completion.
Record the tasks you will need to complete in order to achieve each goal.
Add any other term planning details you wish to document, as instructed by the Term Planning Template.
