How interaction digital illustrated story-book deal with childhood trauma

Many children live in difficult conditions. Like their parents’ unsuccessful relationships, which leads to divorce

This leaves children neglected and abandoned after exposure to many difficult situations, parents’ immorality, and aggressive behavior.

When the child does not deal with his feelings or if he does not find someone to guide and understand him, the problem may grow with him, and he will have some lingering feelings since childhood that negatively affected him, such as depression, not trusting anyone, not feeling entitlement and many more.
Recently, the interest in art began as a therapeutic method to modify some concepts and allow the patient to express what is inside him.

And when we talk about children, the idea may be more acceptable as they are more attracted to interactive graphics, pictures, and sounds.

As designers, we have the opportunity to design interactive digital stories that help the child learn about how he feels and how to deal with it.
n my future project, I’d like to research how to build a story using sounds, sarcasm, and movement into an interactive e-book that helps adults know if a child has been traumatized and, later, how to deal with and channel the feelings of trauma in the right way.

The story is unlike ordinary stories where the child is a recipient of the events only.
In the project, I will give the child the option to choose what the main character should do
As a result of his choices, the events of the story change.
Then we understand his feeling and the reasons for his choices of events, which helps educators to know the best way to deal with them.

In this way, too, I may be able to give the child a voice and the opportunity to express what is inside him.
