General Topic Choices/Ideas:
Expansion on the terms used within the ethical theory (Such as Eudaimonia in virtue ethics or Categorical Imperative in Deontology). How do these terms
contribute to the theory overall, can they be applied to other situations outside of ethics, are the an integral part of the theory, and what would the ethical
theory look like without these terms (would it be as strong or acceptable?).
The strengths and weaknesses of the ethical theory. What is the strangest/most influential aspect of the theory? How do different philosophers get these
important points across? Is there a part of the theory that you believe to be misinterpreted or underappreciated? What is the theory’s greatest weakness, and
can these be easily corrected?

General Topic Choices/Ideas:
Applying ethical theories to the real world. For this topic you’ll be asked to look beyond just the theory itself into where it fits into society. You may choose to
address the theories place in social structure (friends, family, relationships, and duty to others) or government and politics (such as with Utilitarianism’s
connection the ‘for the greater good’ mentality). This topic is open to your individual opinions so long as you provide supporting evidence/material.
