This is a program plan research paper. It will be about creating a program that addresses childhood obesity in NYC Public school students who live in Queens, NY. This program will be called Children’s food program. This program will be implementing cooking classes, creating flyers and brochures, and having bi-weekly nutritional classes after school. This is the format of the paper:
Introduction
• Introducing the topic of childhood obesity
Literature Review
• Literature review of childhood obesity particularly in New York (3-4 pages).
Program plan
• The objective of the program.
• What the program wants to accomplish
implementation Plan
• breaking down the implementation process into smaller steps while defining the timeline, the teams and the resources that will be needed. (2 – 3 pages)
Create a program budget
• The budget would include a nutritionist, 2 Health Educators, a Program director, and an assistant program director. Supplies would include cooking kits, cooking supplies, pens, pencil, paper, printer, etc.
Budget narrative
• Break down the things needed in the budget
Evaluation plan
• This includes the goal statement. (What is the goal of this program?)
• Next is the process evalution methodology. (How the program will be implemented
• After that will be the Outcome Evaluation Methodology (the questions being asked).
Dissemination Plan
• Stakeholder engagement
