2- Operations Management

Objective:
This activity has the purpose of helping students develop the final project related to operations – manufacturing and service sectors. (Objective 2)
Student Instructions:
Research information about CVS Health (a Top 500 Fortune company, service sector organization).
In a 2-page (8 1/2″ x 11″) essay document the following items (2-page is the maximum or the limit of the number of pages for this work):
Research the background of the selected company (Please, do not “copy and paste” from internet sources. Instead research the information and summarize it in your own words).
Based on the topics discussed in the course, identify and discuss key quality concepts of the organization.
How could you improve quality service concepts in this organization?
Construct a single pdf file with your project.
Include references (on the same page not on an additional page). Avoid Wikipedia since it is not a trustworthy reference.
The format for the project is free but the student has only a 2-page 8 1/2″ x 11″ limit to document all the items of his/her work.
Submit the file via Blackboard.
The due date is established in the course calendar.
The value of the project is: 100%
