This presentation is to be directly about the paper about the movie “El rey de San Gregorio” from order # 510742. Please prepare an 8-10 minute presentation in Spanish using simple words. Include slides briefly reviewing the movie and main characters, the otherness, the cultural themes, etc. from the paper. Please watch the movie “El rey de San Gregorio” (from Chile) available on youtube in four sections (SEC 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRgEjpy5I-U, SEC 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9teAxqBEAw, SEC 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z63zd_NGkc4, SEC 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBvTac5Ub4E). Subtitles are available in Spanish, but are not completely correct or reliable. Essay is to include a brief summary, no more than one paragraph, of the movie incorporating the main characters. Describe and analyze as many examples of “otherness” seen in the movie and explain briefly where in the movie the otherness is presented (people who are on the periphery, the minority, the disabled, the outsider, etc.) (make sure to explicitly explain what that otherness is in a way that flows with the paper) . Describe and analyze at least 3 other cultural themes presented in the movie and explain briefly where in the movie the cultural theme is presented and how. Examples for the otherness and the cultural themes cannot be the same. include 3 or 4 articles, or other ACADEMIC sources, that have analyzed the film, the otherness of the characters (or of that type of population), the film as a product culture and/or other cultural issues present. Include an introduction and a conclusion. Must include a citation on the movie, cite by the director.
