CHANGE MANAGEMENT PLAN PROCESS:

Group members will progressively maintain a change management document within their groups to develop a change management plan. For this assignment you have been asked to take on the perspective of change recipients (employees) as opposed to leaders and managers. Given leadership can be exemplified anywhere in an organisation, the intention is that you aim to initiate ‘bottom up’ change (influencing up) with your change management plan. Consequently, your change plan will need to include wide consultation, involvement, communication and more as well as a focus on:

1. how the company problems/issues were identified
2. leadership approaches
3. power and politics/conflict management
4. culture influences
5. ethical issues
6. communication management
7. recipients of change
8. how the change management plan will be implemented and monitored, expected improvements.
9. submission by the due date and time via turnitin.

Some additional advice and tips:

1 Student group defines the structure, method and key sections of the Change Management Plan.
2 The group will nominate who will lead the Change Management Plan from within the organisation (e.g. Change champions,
team leaders etc.).
3 The group will also nominate a group leader from within their group. At appropriate times, the leader will list and then summarise progress towards a solution. Group leadership can be rotated amongst group members – please organise this and date ‘takeover’ dates if using this process.
4 Group leaders will clarify with the other group members (stake-holders) that the summary
is a true indication of the progress of the change management plan.
