Step 2: Imagine you are a sociologist who works for a government agency or non-profit. You have been assigned the task of putting together a proposal on how to address the issue you identified in part one. Your supervisor emails you and asks you for a summary of your proposal. 1. Identifies and explains a sociological theory from this week’s reading and lectures that might help you approach the exploration of the social phenomenon you choose in Step 1. Which of the four main research methods we read about in chapter 2 and on our class slides might you use?
