2- Ancient Civilizations

The research paper is about the role of women in ancient civilizations. Writing about in what ways were women seen as an underclass and in what ways did they confound this notion in these civilizations? What was the role of class in women’s status in society? What contributions did they make in each of the chosen civilizations? All of the details should come from the Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece, Rome, and the Americas.

For the thesis and introduction, it should creates a setting or context for the reader, by identifying the specific time period(s), region(s), and/or culture(s) that will be discussed. The introductory paragraph identifies the main idea(s) and topic(s) to be discussed in the paper and it may contain some important background information to further provide context for the reader. And the introductory paragraph have to have a thesis statement—a sentence or two that states the writer’s key position(s)/argument(s) that will focus and guide the structure and content of the paper.

The paper should have an introductory paragraph, five body paragraphs, and concluding paragraph.
