Unit 5 Assignment: Analysis Results
Start Assignment
Directions
In this assignment you will upload the results of your analysis of any data you collected. Understand that you when conducting surveys, all responses may not be returned by this time (and that is to be expected). The intent here is to briefly describe what method of analysis you used and why you selected it, then apply an analytical method different from the one you initially used and provide the results (see When to use what test. Download When to use what test.) For example, perhaps you conducted a Descriptive Analysis on your data (central tendency, frequency, etc.,) and you might instead consider an Inferential Analysis of your data looking at differences (Chi Square, t-Test, etc.,) or relationships (Correlation, Regression, etc.).
[You’ll find helpful examples of these analysis in the When to use what test Download When to use what testguide.]
Answer the following question:
How were the results from the alternative analytical method you used different from your initial method?
Is there potential value in including the alternative analytical method used? Why or why not – be specific.
The intent is to expose you to alternative means of examining the same data set, and allow you to visualize whether one method provided superior results, relative to your research, than another.
Due Date
• Submit the results of your primary and alternative data analysis before 11:59 pm, Wednesday (CT).
