The student this is based on with just be known as student B. His task focus is transitioning between lessons. He is a hot mess with un-organization everywhere. Without prompts he will just sit there in out of space or will have a book in his desk and be reading it instead of listening to directions. My mentors have been trying new things to improve it since September 21st. For the task analysis she said that they do not need to have it 100% down but some notes I took on the steps my mentors have done: 1. With two or fewer prompts, B will organize his classroom materials by the end of October as measure by observation and data sheets in 6 out of 8 targeted trials. 2. Teaching B how to organize his classroom materials by utilizing visual, color coded aids, as well as additional organization bins. 3. During each targeted trail the sheet will be completed to indicate whether or not the classroom materials are in the correct organization bin. 4. Steps on what we add each time we did trial and error: visual aids modeling seating next to teacher organizational bins (three stack bins that say reading, math, writing) Reduce prompts to improve success He still needs occasional prompts but the whole point of the bins was for him to be able to find his materials quickly to transition but he desk still winds up a mess and the bins become empty because it is all in his desk again.
