Is Justice Truly blind?

Dissect, compare and present story-lines that focus on the role that race plays in juvenile sentences. Locate stories that compare and contrast two similar
cases of juveniles from different racial backgrounds. Use any verifiable search engine to locate juvenile cases for use. Remember that you are looking for
juvenile justice cases where you will then review the case and decide of its eligibility for this assignment.
Your paper should address the following:
The role that the media plays in the world’s perception of race and criminality.
Case law that identifies similar issues where there were two different outcomes where one can reasonably assume, assert, or understand that the obvious
outlier was race.
The deciding factors in the case(s) as outlined by the decision(s).
Who were the attorney’s? Was/were the attorney or attorneys of the same ethnicity as their client? Was the defense attorney a public defender?
If the case involves a juvenile was the juvenile charged and tried as an adult?
Consider disparities in sentencing and any unfair treatment pre-trial. Consider how Dylann Roof received Burger King after murdering 9 Black persons, Kyle
Rittenhouse being applauded by the ex-president, or the ways that non-marginalized criminals are infantilized as a defense for their behaviors.
