The aim of the study is to investigate the effects management practices in global organizations on performance. The study will help highlight major challenges in implementing some of the management practices, especially taking into account global organizations constitutes different talents. Management practices have direct impact in the overall performance of the organization due to its influence on human resource.

How will participants be recruited? Who will they be (i.e. number, age, and gender?):
Email communication will be used for recruiting participants. It is the official means of communication as the research targets managers, and scholars in business. Emails and flyers will be used to recruit business managers and in university institution for scholars in business management field. Both female and male with a mean age of 40 years will be included in the study.

Details of the informed consent process (If required, use the Informed Consent and Participant Information Sheet templates provided and submit with this form):
Firstly, participants will be informed about the purpose of the research. In this regard, participants will engage in the study voluntarily with prior knowledge of what it means for them to take part in the research. There are two distinct stages that will be employed to obtain informed consent. Firstly, participants will be provided with details about the research including purpose, and that the information provided will be used for the specific research purpose. Participants will have enough time to consent, and there will be no undue influence on participants to consent. After giving information, the next stage will be to obtain consent through reiterating the terms of the research as separate bullet points, and the person agrees to every term giving explicit consent.

Description of the method (please submit your research instrument (survey questionnaire, interview questions that you will be using to collect data with this form if relevant):
The study will employ a qualitative methodology. Survey will be used as the research design, as it will allow the use of quantitative methods for data collection. Questionnaire will be used as the instrument of data collection. The questionnaire will have numerically rated items. Questionnaire as the instrument of data collection provides an opportunity to obtain information that can easily be converted into quantitative data. For example, in the questionnaire, there will be ratings to each question, and will be assigned values from 1-5. Consequently, will provide an opportunity to undertake statistical analysis of the responses. It will be an easy way to get information from respondents as the survey questions can be sent through mail, where respondents can easily respond at their convenience.

Where will this research be conducted?
The research study will be conducted in the UK. However, the research seeks to get information from China due to the cultural differences with the Western world. The implication here is that although the research study will be conducted in the UK, respondents with managerial experience from Asia, and understand the culture in Asia will be recruited. It is worth noting that business leaders working in the UK and with corporate experience from China. Companies in the UK and especially in Northampton will be selected for the study. Only multinational companies will be surveyed. Consequently, it makes it easier to get the relevant information from participants.

What steps have been taken or will be taken to ensure appropriate permissions are obtained? (N.B. provide a copy of correspondence i.e. letter, emails granting you permission must be submitted with your ethics submission)
Firstly, there is need to provide the necessary response from the participants regarding permission to participate in the study. Most business organizations might have policies regarding research activities. Firstly, to obtain permission to conduct the necessary research, it is appropriate to provide a written request to the management about the need to interview some of the employees. It is critical to request information if the company or the organization firstly allows its staff to participate in a research study. Purpose of the study should also be defined clearly when seeking permission to conduct research. Response should also be in written format so as to act as evidence of permission granted.
