The impact of social determinants in type 2 diabetic women in Australia

Please be advised that a narrative literature review is required to be done for this assignment. This is in contrast to a systematic review, which is primarily (but not always) which is more complex and you may not have time and skills to perform this. Please note that a systematic search (which you have just learnt about) is different to a systematic review of the literature. There are many resources available to describe how to conduct a literature review. Many may have conflicting advice, so make sure you state which references you have used to guide the literature review you do.

Assignment 2 outline
Introduction (20%): A brief overview of the issue and its significance
There is a statement of the aim of the project- i.e. what did the student want to find out about this issue/topic values
Search strategy (methods) (30%)
a. Description of databases that were used to find the articles/data and why,
b. Description of whether they have consulted anyone in their search strategy(optional)
c. Description of key words or search terms that were used,
e. statement of the search timeframe and reasons for this framework
f. Inclusion and exclusion criteria(selection criteria),
g. Description of how the article articles/data were analysed (mostly thematic and content analysis).
h. A description of whether there was a use of grey literature was provided

Findings (10%)
Findings State the range of literature you obtained (number of articles and main focus). You may summarise your database output in a table form, including what was discarded for review

Group findings (30%)
according to themes and describe the process you used to identify the themes.

Academic assessment: (10%)
Clear structure is used with headings and relevant sub-headings.
Provides a lucid introduction and conclusion
Complies with normal academic standards of presentation, referencing(use of Vancouver or Harvard) and reference details
Clearly written, with accurate spelling, grammar, sentence, and paragraph construction.

Activity:
Literature Review:
Conduct the search strategy. Retrieve articles/reports
Identify themes and group according to themes and critically discuss literature under those themes.
Finalise literature review and requirements for Assignment 2.
