1. There are several main points of significant doctrinal difference between Christianity and Jehovah’s Witnesses. One of these is the deity of Jesus Christ. Provide a brief analysis and critique of the position of the JW.
2. Examine the Mormon positions on the Virgin Birth and Jesus Christ as savior. Briefly assess the differences that you see between the Christian view and the Mormon view. What conclusions can you draw from your assessment?
3. Examine the Christian Science perspective on the deity of Christ. Provide an assessment of this position by using your knowledge of Patristic history and its struggles with heresies such as Arianism, Ebionitism and Monophysitism and the rationalist agenda of the Middle Ages of thinkers such as Descartes, Locke, and Hume.
