For this assignment, go online, and do some research. Find one female/transgender/LGBTQ priest or religious leader who has managed to defeat gender conventions and become a religious leader. You must choose a leader from a religion or religious denomination of which you are NOT a part of. So, for example, you can choose any of the world religions. If you are a Catholic, you can choose an evangelical leader and so on. Describe who the person is. What what this person’s life like? How did he/she become a religious leader? Did they face resistance? What is their lasting contribution to religion and humanity?
