Step 1: Write a one full page summary of the differences in climate and of the diversity of plant communities between the western and eastern Sierra. • Plant communities of the eastern and western Sierras.
• Sierra Nevada-Climate.
• “A World of Forests”: Mammoth Lakes Ecosystem. You may click on the ecosystems graphic and use that within your paper. Be sure not to directly copy their material, paraphrase and use only the concise, pertinent information.

• Provide a few photos (more than one) of each species. You may include any other graphics. • Provide ½ page summary ( more than one paragraph) on each species.
• Use one complete page for each species. Keep each species on it’s own page.
• Use a heading/label for each species.
