For your written assignment, you will select any crime series show and use it as the basis for a police report. You will assume the role of the original responding officer to the call for service and use the television show as your starting point for your preliminary investigation. The investigative steps and evidence collected may be lacking the detail you need. You will have to assume certain steps were completed and put those into your report. It is completely fine to make up things you would do in your case as you see fit. It does not have to be on the actual show. Use the power point presentations from the last few weeks to be your guide. The police report will be (2000 words) at a minimum. Points will be deducted for reports lacking 2000 words.
