Online learning is as good as face-to-face education

For Paper 3 you are tasked with writing a researched argument about an issue affecting your future career field (I am going to school to be a commercial pilot/My major is Aeronautical Management Technology so its hard for me to do online because I am not able to so my flight training because of the covid 19) The main goal of your essay is to clearly present your position on the issue you’ve researched and to ultimately persuade the reader to your side of the issue.When choosing what to write about be sure to choose something that has two clear sides – that you are presenting a position that has a clear opposition – in other words, there need to be people who will disagree with the ideas you present. Begin by showing the conversation your paper is responding to (“they say”), have a clear statement of your own argument (“I say”), include quotes and incorporate them smoothly, point out possible objections to your argument, use appropriate transitions, and explain why the issue matters. These sources should serve as support for your argument. Remember, you are joining a conversation – so you should have support from those who are already in the conversation. Also, keep in mind that you should address the opposition/“naysayer” in your essay.
-Your essay should be 7 paragraphs (a minimum of 7 sentences per paragraph — with the exception of the first paragraph – which can be 5 sentences) long and should include a thesis statement that clearly presents the purpose of the paper. The essay should follow MLA style guidelines – Times New Roman, 12 point font, and include a properly formatted Works Cited page. Your writing should be polished and follow the “rules” of academic writing – with correct spelling, grammar, and mechanics.
