7. Quality assurance is an important part to any build. As the building designer, you are required to source to your material selections. Provide a Statement outlining key points and examples for 3 selected materials of your facade. (50 Words max) 5

10. Provide two example data sheets provided by manufacturer, one for an internal material and one for an external finish product used in the construction of Beachlands house and analyse suitability for a residential project. Identify any precautions that may be required. 6
11. Explain the design principles that were applied to the Beachlands house in terms of: e.g. 6 star rating (200 Words max) 6
12. Give two alternative material selections to those used on the Beachlands house (one external material and one interior finish. Explain the differences between the materials and support your selection with your rationale. Provide your research to support your alternative proposal, including product information and specification along with a digital sample gained directly from contact with the supplier agency for the comparison analysis. (As a building designer you must consider the suitability of materials and their uses. Nominate the relevant Australian Standard and section of NCC as applicable that you must refer to when nominating material)

Think about a new housing estate, and what a builder would need to consider when building a new home and getting deliveries. Example power point on canvas).
