Intro: Set the stage to show your data and results…
Background information from class on topic. Define your variables, discuss the method, what equations do you need, write the chemical reaction..
Procedure: The recipe you used…number the steps.
Data: ONLY values that you actually measure in lab.
i.e. temperature, mass, time etc.
Calculations: Absolutely anything that you calculate, T, q, anything!
Don’t forget % error:
% error = |actual- experimental| x 100

Discussion: Here’s where you analyze and discuss your experiment and results.
Restate the purpose, briefly describe the experiment, what are the results, what are the possible sources of error? Summarize. Be thoughtful and brief.
