Assignment Instructions
For this assignment, we will address the foundational course objectives that focus upon the role of and challenges facing the private sector in securing the homeland government’s expectations related to these issues. Specifically, you will provide details regarding how a specific private sector business/organization (whether that be a “real world” company or a fictitious one) is addressing and carrying out the
( https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/publications/JointNationalPrioritiesFactSheet-508.pdf ) Joint National Priorities for Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience. In your reply, you will be expected to address these priorities by incorporating the topics we have covered thus far in class (i.e. critical infrastructure, continuity of operations planning, partnerships, information sharing, challenges, etc.).
Technical Requirements:
Length: Five (5) pages total, double spaced, 1″ margins, 12 pitch type in Times New Roman font. Title page, abstract (if used) and reference list do not count towards the required page count.
Sources: You are not limited to the assigned readings within this course for your research. Research outside of assignment readings is encouraged. You must use and document in your paper, a minimum of five (5) academically acceptable resources for this assignment.
Citations/References: You must use the APA Reference List (Parenthetical) style for this assignment.
Submission: All work should be prepared in Microsoft Word and submitted as an attachment by 11:55 PM on the Sunday.
Grading: Submissions will be graded using the attached rubric.
