Feminist and Women’s Rights Movements in American History 1800s – Present

Paper is about the evolution of feminist and women’s rights movements in American history. Important events and people from women’s rights movements from the late nineteenth century to current day. The status and situation of nineteenth century woman (rich and poor), suffrage, 19th amendment, 1950’s housewife, members of second-wave feminist movements in the 60s and 70s, Gloria Steinem, Feminine Mystique, and women in todays society with the MeToo movement. A brief discussion of how women of color, immigrant women, and poor women have been excluded from these discussions. Syllabus recommends at least one footnote citation per paragraph. I have a badly done annotated bib that includes some sources that discuss topics I no longer intended to include in this paper. The sources are reliable but any variation from them is fine. Can be anywhere between 3-5 pages and can include a couple pictures. Concurrent enrollment student really lacking motivation. Can’t thank you enough.
