

The final exam is an open book online exam. This exam will take place form 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday, June 6th 2020. The exam will be available from the BSD113 Economics Assessment 3 folder from ******* 2:00 pm Saturday, June 6th 2020. The exam and the Turn It In upload portal for the exam will close and no longer be available at 4:30 pm on June 6th 2020. Please ensure you have finished uploading your exam question responses before 4:30 pm.
The exam is worth 50% of the course marks for the semester. This exam is marked out of 30, with each section being ten marks. The exam will be marked out of 30 marks total.
The final exam will consist of *******FOUR sections: GDP and Growth; Unemployment and Inflation; Monetary Policy; and Fiscal Policy. Students are required to select THREE sections only and complete ALL the questions in those three sections. Responses to the exam questions will be written in a Word document, and this is to be uploaded to Turn It In before the closing time of the exam.
Materials to assist your preparation for this exam are provided below. Lecture notes from weeks 8 to 12 inclusive are below, as are tutorial questions and answers for the four topics covered. Workshop notes from weeks 8 to 12 are also supplied below. A close reading of the textbook readings for each of the topics you intend to complete is an essential part of your preparation.
