• Describe and explain how the “Distribution of Income” in the U.S. has historically impacted various income groups of people in the U.S. and identify examples of contemporary (current) challenges that people at the bottom are facing?
• Provide examples from the readings how the “Consequences of Social Class” impact people from different high/low income levels and share how this is relevant to the current COVID-19 pandemic?
• Explain the Social Functions of the “Horatio Alger” myth and describe how it applies to the masses of people in the U.S who are moving down the Social Class ladder. What is your own personal perspective on this myth?
