Learning Monitoring tool (Rubrics)
• Since, the postgraduate programs are most likely self-dependent; these require creativity, open mindset, ethical hard work, teamwork spirit, respect diversity, and analytical skills. This monitoring and assessment tool is used to report on whether you read and understand, whether you assimilate the knowledge, whether you develop enquiry ability, whether you have the potential to conduct critical thinking and whether you can reflect on the knowledge accumulated by relating to real situations. It will be considered as evidence on the effectiveness of the learning process. On top of that, the following structure and its different sections will be used as comprehensive rubrics to mark your critique.
• This assignment will be done in group of 5 students. Therefore, maximum before week 2 class, the groups should be formulated.
• Each student should read the blow PDF file carefully.
• The project should be typed (double-space), font size 12 times new roman and maximum of 10 – 15 pages. The project report should be clear and must provide an accurate reflection of the efforts put into the report.
• Each team is requested to conduct 50-100 questionnaires using the excel sheet provided by the instructor
• Through the help of my Teaching Assistant, you will learn how to analyze and report on your research outcomes.
• While doing the project, you are kindly requested to care about the following criteria.
Clarity of purpose. Is the topic/problem/issue clearly laid out? Why is the topic/problem/issue relevant for study?
Thoroughness of research. Have the relevant sources of information been collected?
Have the relevant sources of information been researched and referenced?
Style of presentation. Is the paper well written and persuasive? Does it effectively communicate its ideas to the reader?
Grasp of the subject. Is the paper a mere rephrasing of the material from other sources or, does it demonstrate the team’s grasp of the subject?
References styling. The references should be in APA style.
• Each and every project must be plagiarism free. Therefore, the instructor (and only the instructor) will be using the Turn-it-In software to trace any plagiarism.
• The final report and the power point presentation will be submitted in week 10.
