After your graduation you got a job in a pharmaceutical biotechnology company which produce different products including insulin. The company wanted to expand the production by producing two more products: 1- Fast acting insulin. 2- Erythropoietin. You have been asked to submit a detailed proposal describing the steps for the production of these two products, the proposal should include the following:  Detailed description of the drug discovery (which approach, which gene, gene accession number if possible), gene manipulation and recombinant DNA technology steps (including which vector, which promoter).  Detailed description of the required drug characterization, drug delivery system (justify the selection)  Detailed description of the sources of biopharmaceuticals (justify the selection) & upstream processing (in case you selected bacterial and mammalian cell lines).
