“The term transaction risk refers to the risks, facing the buyer and seller when they move money and goods in an international sales transaction. Transaction risks arise from barriers that separate buyer and seller, including distance, oceans, the time that the cargo is out of possession of the parties, communication and language difficulties, cultural differences, national boundaries, interference by local customs authorities, and legal systems.” Schaffer, Agusti & Dhooge P. 121
In the light of the above, using decided/hypothetical cases and relevant legal provisions:
a. Provide a comprehensive legal analysis of transaction risks as it relates to international business transaction.
b. Differentiate the divergent legal systems that can be encountered in international business transactions.
c. Provide relevant law and policy approaches to managing transaction risk in international business transactions.
Instructions:
1. The assignment format must be in ‘Times New Roman font’, size 12, with at least 1.5 line spacing.
2. The legal referencing style should be ‘footnote’ based on Oscola style.
3. The word limit must be up to a minimum of 3500 words.
4. Innovative approach is encouraged in structuring your assignment.
5. The assignment must satisfy the following criteria:

iv. Structure and Presentation Structure is logical and appropriate. Presentation of the essay is to a highly professional standard with excellent clarity of written expression and accurate and consistent style of referencing.
